but first a look around ..
It was time for some light to shine in this little room...
even though we have the Eiffel tower and another lamp right below it...its just not enough..
So Monday came and this is what happened...I took a little jaunt to Lowes and came home and did this..
The first picture I took because I couldn't wait ..it was gonna be a teaser but I decided ..nope you will have to wait..
this is with the flash...above
without the flash above...
curtains to cover up the chaos in the closet...
and a sweet little desk with a mirror above that I picked up at Goodwill and Camalee painted...
I made this years ago..so easy to make...
and simple Gerber daisy..left over from pink party...
A princess sign for each of them...

That room is adorable! So quaint and cozy. Love the chandelier and the furniture. Lucky girls!
Isn't it amazing what a few changes can make, from cute to wonderful? :) love the black and white pillows with the pink trim!
You are not gonna believe this but we just painted Katiera's room blue a couple weeks ago!! lol
OK, I really loved the green. And then you painted it that wonderful blue! Against the white trim it is so bright and cheerful looking!
Curious? Did you have the wiring for the above light already? That kind of light fixture looks exactly like the ones my husband put in my studio in the basement - globe fluorescents - unlike the old uncomfortable to the eyes fluorescents. The new ones really brighten a space.
I love the color combos, too! Thank you so much for posting. I'm still working on my room downstairs. Hope to have some pictures to share this week - with my three followers! Ha! Cracks me up!

What a pretty princess room!
Thank you for showing it.
Ok, OK, no fair Steph!! I'm stuck recovering and you get to redo a room!! And it's French inspired, just like we want, too??!! Maddy's room is just waiting...waiting...waiting...It was supposed to be done by the end of the month, but now it will probably be at least Valentine's Day!! ARGH!!
You did an awesome job and it is utterly delightful!! We will be getting a little white desk from a friend, too, and we just can't wait to see it all come together!! I'm even more excited now that I've seen your daughter's. Thanks so much for sharing!!
Have a joyful Sunday!!
Love and hugs,
Becky
