love dare. day 25. love forgives..

Day 25
What I have forgiven, if I have anything, I did it for your sakes in the presence of Christ.-2 Corinthians 2:10
Love forgives
Today's dare
Whatever you haven't forgiven in your mate, forgive it today. Let it go. Just as we ask Jesus to "forgive us our debts" each day, we must ask Him to help us "forgive our debtors" Each day as well. Unforgiveness has been keeping you and your spouse in prison too long. Say from your heart, "I choose to forgive."
Questions for you:
  • What did you forgive your spouse for today?
  • How long have you been carrying the weight of it?
  • What are the possibilities now that you've released this matter from God?

I have a question too. Has your spouses been wondering whats up with you lately? Have they noticed the changes? Would love to hear! I just want to say your all so faithful..God be with you again today. Thanks for stopping by! love ya mean it! Stephanie

I have found it hard to post on the last few, a little too personal...but I do know that I have a lot to forgive...and I'm trying, but it is a long process even after the words are said.

Sorry that I didn't post yesterday...this relinquishing computer time is taking me a while to figure out just how much I can get done in x amount of minutes. ;)

To report for Day 4...my two things up on the woman's silhouette are material things...books and dishes (especially pottery). I can come up with just about any excuse (disguised as 'reasons' in my mind) to purchase either of these items regardless. SO, I'm going to be learning to be content with such things as I have...LOTS OF BOOKS THAT ARE UNREAD...AND MORE DISHES THAN ANY ONE PERSON COULD POSSIBLY EVER USE.

The Day 25 dare on forgiveness is something that I have to honestly say I do NOT have a problem with where Carroll is concerned. Somewhere around year 30 I realized why waste wonderful days, months and years allowing something he did to rob me of my joy! I made a conscience effort from that point on when I am offended to just give it to the Lord right then and there...never to have it to surface again...never...nada! God is faithful!

Is he noticing a difference...yes...and I'm so glad. He still isn't willing to ask if I'm doing the love dare but the rewards (you know, like peace and joy in the home) have been worth it all.

Thank you, Stepanie, for all you've done to make this possible.

I want to mentioned here, too, that if I miss a day here or there, know that I am still following along in my book...just crunched for time on the computer. ;)
