Christmas one day at a time..

I had to go to a bazaar this weekend..yes! HAD to....because my son was working at the coffee cart there...and my daughter was going to sing Christmas Carols there..only thing is..neither did neither....oh well...LOL I ended up shopping and grabbed up this chair for $10 bucks and the twin and table are on their way for $10 buck each..
We have had the coldest weather here in the pacific northwest right now..this is part of my driveway it is was so quiet and peaceful ...

My little project for the day..clipped some greens and with a little burlap and lace my day was made!

And the front door wreath..everyday I try to do one small thing so as not to become overwhelmed with the season...it is so much more enjoyable than racing around ceaselessly striving..Thanks for stopping by! love ya mean it !Stephanie

I'm doing the same thing... a little each day. By the time I get it all up, it'll be time to take it all down (lol!).

It's more about feeling it. Lots of years our home has looked Christmas-y but this year I want to slow the pace and feel the calm, peace... family.

Your blog is lovely, by the way *smiles*

Blessings... Polly

Your wreath is beautiful and I love your little pitcher of greenery! very simple yet pretty. I hear you about trying to take the holiday season slowly, before you know it, it'll be over! Enjoy:)

Just love your ideas and the wreath looks wonderful. I really must get mine made and up. I kepp saying once I finish school then I can get all the jobs done. I really do try, but this term is so hectic and the end of term even more so. I have just made 150 mince pies and gallons of mulled wine for the Carol Concert. I finish on the 17th Dec so here's to all those little jobs that are on my to do list.
thanks for sharing.
