Not stepping over November..

I have Thanksgiving in my head today..I am not sure what our plans are but I refuse to step over November to December ideas..so I roamed around and found some ideas I liked for November....
I like how simple this pear is with a nameplate made of paper and a beautiful gold tipped pin...

This napkin looks very simple and classy too...I could easily make everyone at the table feel honored with this idea....

OOO........ I could make this tablecloth...and add favorite verses from Scripture on it!

And remember loved ones who have passed on or could not make it to our thanksgiving meal...

This is a lovely idea for napkins to sit beside the hot apple cider....and by using colored ink I could really make it special...Just a few ideas to think on...Thanks for stopping by! Love ya! Mean it! Stephanie

I love the idea of a tablecloth with scripture on it! You should go for it and make sure to include a tutorial ;)

OMG! I just did a similar post with a couple of the same ideas. This just confirms that they're great ideas and that we both have excellent taste :-)! Happy Wednesday...

Can I come to Thanksgiving at your house? I loved being able to do some special things like that last year because we only had 8 people instead of 80, where its all about paper plates and potluck! I'll post some pics of 2008 on my blog to remind my self:)

I know what you mean...I'm so determined to not gloss over Thanksgiving. It's my favorite holiday for celebrating family and I just don't want to start the Christmas decor and crafting too soon for fear I'll "burn out" before Christmas even gets here.

I love the ideas you showed today. I think I will do the burlap tablecloth idea. I already have the burlap runner down the middle of our 9 foot table and it would be perfect to stencil on some Thanksgiving verses.

I love all the ideas you shared-especially the tablecloth and photos of loved ones not present on this earth. I haven't even begun to think about Thanksgiving but I will now.

I loved the tablecloth. I thought of my Mom when I saw it. She's one of those that's hard to buy for. So true about Thanksgiving, if we the Christian don't keep it alive, who will? The retail business sure won't. They go from Halloween to Christmas.

I love Thanksgiving; it's all about family and food and most importantly, appreciating the blessings in our lives.
