Hello there! Im falling into October over here! I have noticed blogs that are hosting Fall Mantel Parties..I have had such a great time looking at them! But, I don't have one in this little ol' house of mine so I usually end up doing my sideboard...and on Saturday I took a couple of minutes to do this in between cleaning..(picture quality is something to be desired, as I finally got Miss Camera to load a few pictures..courtesy of my sweet husband..) but, oh well, I really didn't even know if I would get them loaded up so did not really take time to make them look nice..sorry...
Start with a blank slate I always say..

add the base..

Some details...

anything you like will work....

Even food.. like nuts work well ..

and feathers too..it doesn't have to make sense..its all about textures and colors in the same color family here..

So, good enough...Have you done your mantel or a special area you love to showcase for Fall?

Thanks for stopping by! love ya mean it! Stephanie

Hi Gal! You should def. include this in the mantle memes!! It is gorgeous, and I always see people improvise on those things! I love how you decorate! Above my gas fireplace is a windowsill. If I had it all decorated, I'd call it a mantle! ;O) The candles are so cool!

Love and hugs to you!
Have a wonderful week, sweetie!
Becky

I'm not one for holiday or seasonal decor, but this fall setting is absolutely stunning!

It looks lovely. At our last home our fireplace did not have a mantle and the top of our piano became my "mantle" for decorating. You have to have a mantle for Christmas, right?

Love the grouping! I had planned to get some things done this weekend but it didn't work out. Maybe this week I'll have a few minutes to put some things together.

Absolutely beautiful, Stephanie! Would love to take a walk through of your home...ever thought of doing a virtual tour for your readers? ~hint~

Thank you for taking the time to answer my question about those delicious looking pumpkin cheesecake bars. They are coming up on this week's menu!
