Barbie and Daddybear...

Happy Birthday to my baby..she is now a six year old and I cannot believe it...She requested a Barbie party and I threw one together ....all from the dollar store this year...
Homemade Barbie cake was her very first request, after she seen pictures of one I did for my oldest daughter..unfortunately, I'm sick as a dog and this is what came of that..oh, well. she liked it anyway...

Little rings and bracelet's to share with friends..

crafts too...

and bunnies floating on clouds because they just do in Barbieland....

The excitement of it all...priceless.....

And flowers from the only man she loves....

Daddybear

Look at his face...realizing time is going oh, so fast...honey, I love that you make our daughters feel special..your gonna be a hard act to follow....
And so on we go..watching our lives and thanking God for another year..thank you for stopping by..love ya mean it! Stephanie

That brought tears to my eyes:) That is a Daddy that will be the glue who holds her together through the teen years! A round of applause to you both for putting the best you can into parenting.

Oh, Stephanie, I'm so grateful I can type without looking at the keys because I'd be hard pressed right now to be able to read them due to the tears welling up and overflowing! What a precious precious gift you've given your little 6 year old...dreams come true, in such a fashionable way, done in such good taste, all wrapped up into a memory that she'll treasure for a lifetime.

When I made it to the picture of Daddybear hugging his little one I totally just had to stop and cry. How precious that parents still invest this kind of love in their children.

Our children are grown now...married and have little ones of their own. I see the same kind of love showered on our grandchildren as I've witnessed here in your lives...thank you for the memories today's post brought back for me!

~hugs~
