A man shall leave his father and his mother, and be joined to his wife; and they shall become one flesh.-Genesis2:24
Love and marriage
Today's dare
Is there a "leaving" issue you haven't been brave enough to conquer yet? Confess it to your spouse today, and resolve to make it right. The oneness of your marriage is dependent upon it. Follow this with a commitment to your spouse and to God to make your marriage the top priority over every other human relationship.
Questions for you:
- Has this been a hard thing for you to deal with?
- How has it affected your relationship?
- If the worse offender in this area is your spouse(with your in- laws), how can you lovingly move toward a better situation?
I love my in laws! They have been so good to me! I'm very fortunate! Can you believe we are almost done with the love dare? wow! What a trip! Your all doing great job! I love reading about you..you inspire me!! thanks for stopping by! love ya mean it! Stephanie

Glad to get an easy one! ha. My in-laws are actually at my house right now taking care of my daughter while I'm away with my husband. I lost both of my own parents in 2010 to cancer and Alzheimer's and that has been extremely hard, but my husband was really there for me, even though he hasn't felt the pain like I have.
This Love Dare has really been good for me, to focus more sacrificially on my husband. If he hasn't already figured out that I'm doing it, I suppose I can tell him on Day 41. :-)
It's also been a huge blessing to read what the rest of you are writing and doing. It encourages me!
