Hello there...its Saturday morn and I'm still sick...feeling better but not quite there...so I think I'm going to take a week off from blogging and everything that is not absolutely a necessity and try to recuperate...I feel like my blog has been under the weather too as I'm not doing my best here right now...so I am in hope that with some time off and by feeling better all around.. Happy Birthday to my baby..she is now a six year old and I cannot believe it...She requested a Barbie party and I threw one together ....all from the dollar store this year...
Homemade Barbie cake was her very first request, after she seen pictures of one I did for my oldest daughter..unfortunately, I'm sick as a dog and this is what came of that..oh, well. she liked it anyway...

Wow! Its finally Friday people! It feels like a full day has happened and its only 11:02 am...My feet hit the floor running as I got in the shower this morning.. jumped out.. put the 5 year old in the shower on the way out..got dressed...got her dressed.. breakfast for all ...lunches made ..socks on...approving my daughters dress for school..headed out the door...returned... made a bathroom run... hopped in the car to the bus stop we go! Goodbye! Have a great day!...I love you!..silence....Racing down the road to the clinic for Dr. appointment..whew! I'm early..looking around as I park the car..old lady walking and what? spitting? whatever..across the road, supermom is jogging or showing off her abilities as she jogs... pushing a double stroller..with two kids and a dog attached to her wrist..kicking up her oh so cute legs and looking ever so able...I shove off into the clinic... get my little buzzer thing that goes off ..you know, like at Red Robins..telling me its my turn..for privacy they say..all I know is when it went off everybody looked up and followed me to the door with their eyes and off I went to the dreaded scale..yes! I lost some more weight! I trollop behind the nurse thinking .. yeah! I'm so rocking! and.... I'm so glad I shaved above the knee today...because you guessed it! Its pap test day!!! ugh. I have turned into chatty katty as the obvious will take place...oh why! oh why! do we have to suffer the humiliation!? That done ..back home..grab a hot cup of tea and think..I'm so glad it's Friday and I don't have to do THAT for another year...except.. I have a mammogram scheduled.................. oh boy............Have a great weekend! Love ya mean it! Stephanie
As I pulled into the driveway of my friend Karen's house...this is what I saw...it was simply stunning to me that on this dreary day the color of the trees inspired me so much I wanted to share it with you...
The trees were decorated with pink blossoms and the drive had been freshly sprinkled with a light dew..
I love the green moss on the side as it compliments the pink blossoms and the contrast of the rocks as they glistened along the drive...
Look beyond the rock ledge at the rows of pink in the background that hold promise of the future crop..

Evan said I was clicking the computer keys a little harder than usual tonight...I dont know why..he calls me a bloggaholic..I dont get it....I have a problem..yeah I know..but its totally managble....I can stop anytime..really...after I check my favorites I will be off..and hey it is diet...so thats good right? giggle have a great evening.
